04 mercury 115efi 4 stroke

HiI have a 04 mercury 115efi 4 stroke outboard that lost all power this year it starts it and at first idles good but when take off it bogs down at full throttle i only get about 3800 rpm normally id get 5200 and sometimes it will pop into running normal for a second or two then go back into bog mode. not getting any buzzers going off?? not sure how to pull codes or if there is any? and i also tryed running it off a different fuel tank to besure it was not just an old fuel issue?? any help would be great id ike to know how to pull codes and any other advice on a possable cause for this issue thanks again.

Hi Tim,

To pull codes, you would need a scanner.

Have you tried looking at some of the issues that don't need a scanner to check out...like the compression and that you've got good spark on all cylinders?
