thanks chris thank you sir.as i was playing around with the controls i kept moving them then trying to start the engines. you hit it right on. they werent in neutral...you cant feel the change in the controls like its shifting out of or into gear..but that is what it was. many thanks...

controlls are just mechanical there are no electronics in the controls the keys are seperate from the controller..is it possible there is a switch in the lower unit that will not let these engines start unless there in the water? just a thought.

i bought a boat with 2 crysler 700 skier engines. 1974 or 75 not sure. when i turn the key on to eighther engine the electric chokes kick in. but the selonoids do not. same on both engines. i can jump from the battery to the selonoids + side and the selonoids kick in and also the...
