    Its a mercury 700, and yes i mean the lower unit. i will get a flashlight and have a look, so if turning the driveshaft sometimes help, what always helps? i find it strange that its a complete mission to get this back in and bolted on, but then tbh, i dont know much about boat engines :)...

    Not sure if right place but anyhoo Have recently had to buy a new gearbox for me motor, now, i managed to get the thing off, after many problems, have now got a new prop/gearbox, my question is, how the hell do i get it back on? i can get to about an inch to attaching it back onto the engine...

    no access points, its a solid unit, the hull itself is the actual sides and bottom albeit a small walking floor that is false, but when you step out onto the back of the boat the floor is all false, from hull doorway to rear, from left to right

    Hahahahaha crocs...now they dont bother me, but the whites, have to say, they sit on my mind a little bit, but figured if i take the dog with us, toss him into the water for a swim, if he is still swimming 5 mins later its safe to jump in! only kidding...... taking the boat out this weekend...
