    REMOTE oil filter

    Tgere is an adaptor where your oil filter is now and there is 2 hoses oil in and oil out, then your placement for the new filter will be on top of the engine so it will be very easy to change the filter when needed.

    Change the engine oil and drain the carb.

    reverse thrust

    You are sayin in reverse, I guess it happens in reverse only not foward? If so it may just need a cable adjustment for the momentary kill switch on the engine.It kills the engine when you put it into gear just for a split second and you do not even know it.
